Descripció de l'autor

The walk starts at the former town hall (1903) of Poppel and goes over quiet agricultural roads through agricultural and forest areas. Between points 25 and 26, we follow the winding AA river. Next, it goes along alternating fields and patches of forest to the chapel of Rovert (1735) located at the Dutch border. We retrace our steps and walk through the forests of Molenheide to the other side of the municipality, to the Dutch border at boundary marker no. 843, located in the valley of the Nieuwe Ley and part of the centuries-old estate 'De Schrieken'. Just before we reach the endpoint of the walk, we have a beautiful view of the late Gothic Saint Valentine's Church (from the 16th century).
