Walk as a family in the footsteps of Sergeant York by taking this historic trail to see and feel the history of this Great War hero.
1/ Starting from Laloy Chenet Main Street, go left.
2/ Turn left again, leaving the street of goulets on the right. Continue straight, leaving the path next to the pumping station on the left.
3/ At the intersection, turn left and continue straight. Walk alongside a pond and follow the path leading to the heart of the hill where the exploits of the Sergeant took place. Cross over a small stream.
4/ Turn right and continue straight.
5/ Stay to the right on the wide path above the stele. An information plaque and a stele commemorate the acts of arms.
6/ Go down to the right and continue straight. Cross a small stream and then a second one. Leave a path on the left and continue to the intersection.
3/ Then continue straight to reach Châtel.
