A nice hike in the Vouzino lands
Follow the yellow pedestrian markings.
1- Starting from Place Carnot, head towards Rue Chanzy to descend towards the Ardennes canal. Stay on this main artery, pass in front of the post office, in front of the church and then on the bridge.
2- On the bridge, turn left and take the Ardennes canal to Vrizy. Continue straight ahead along the canal. Pass successively 3 locks.
3- Leave the canal by turning left at the lock house. Cross over the tracks to join a rural path that gently descends on the right. Then veer left in the bend and continue along the grassy path. Upon reaching Vrizy, continue straight ahead. Enter the village, turn left then right and again left.
4- At the intersection with Rue des Vanniers, continue straight on Avenue Beguin. An information sign about "The Prairies of the Aisne Valley" is located next to the tennis court. Turn left onto Chemin des Hautes Rives and continue straight ahead. Enter the woods, cross through, exit to follow a field and turn left onto a path leading back to the RD983.
5- Turn left to follow the RD983 for about 160m then turn right and follow the white path.
6- The path now crosses an agricultural parcel. Turn left to enter the parcel and left again to exit it. Continue on the path, then pass over the Pont de la Muette on a small road before arriving at the Paquis.
7- Turn right onto the white path, a small positive elevation awaits you.
8- At the top of the slope, turn left at the intersection. Pass in front of the Argona Aquatic Center and continue straight ahead. Cross the roundabout and descend Rue de Syrienne. Upon reaching the intersection with Rue du Temple, turn left to return to the city center and Place Carnot.
