Kölns Zoologiske Have i den nordlige bydel Riehl blev grundlagt i 1860 og anses for at være den tredje ældste zoologiske have blandt de nuværende dyrehaver i Tyskland. Den deltager i adskillige avlsprogrammer for dyrearter. Med over 1,3 millioner besøgende er den en af de mest besøgte institutioner af sin art i Tyskland.
