Til Landskabsudstillingen 2003 blev området bag St. Antonius Kirke og Bruno Kleine anlagt. På det tidligere område af van Delden-spinderiet har byplanlæggere oprettet Inselpark Gronau. Der blev anlagt kanaler, som har skabt enkelte øer, der hver har fået en individuel udformning. På have- og vandøen findes der forskellige underholdningsmuligheder, alt sammen i tæt naboskab og adskilt af romantiske vandløb.
