Boffzen ist eine Gemeinde an der Weser im Landkreis Holzminden im südlichen Niedersachsen . Sie ist Mitgliedsgemeinde und Verwaltungssitz der Samtgemeinde Boffzen.
Boffzen liegt am Westrand des Mittelgebirges Solling östlich der Weser zwischen den nordrhein-westfälischen Städten Höxter im Norden und Beverungen im Süden. Die Rottmünde mündet in Boffzen in die Weser.
