Die Bockholter Emsfähre ist eine Überquerungsmöglichkeit für Radfahrer und Wanderer. An der Grenze zu Emsdetten kann hier über die Ems nach Mesum übergesetzt werden. Als letzte handbetriebene Fahre im gesamten Emsverlauf ist die Bockholter Emsfähre eine echte Besonderheit im Münsterland. Und vermutlich die kleinste Fähre Deutschlands für Personen und Fahrräder.
Das Fährrecht an dieser Stelle besteht schon seit rund 300 Jahren. Der Fährbetrieb für Personen und Fahrräder ist von Frühjahr bis Herbst an Wochenenden und Feiertagen sichergestellt.
