Dours est une commune française située dans le nord du département des Hautes-Pyrénées, en région Occitanie. C'est une commune située à environ 10 km au nord-est de Tarbes, sur les coteaux de Pouyastruc marquant la limite orientale de la vallée de Tarbes. Sur le plan historique et culturel, la commune est dans l’ancien comté de Bigorre, comté historique des Pyrénées françaises et de Gascogne.
