Il comune si trova a nord-est del circondario di Pinneberg, circa cinque chilometri a est di Barmstedt. Il Krückau scorre attraverso il territorio comunale.
A nord del nucleo storico del paese si trovano le frazioni di Voßmoor e Heidkaten, a ovest la frazione di Hohenufer.
