Den beskyttede kirke ved Paardenmarkt er i neogotisk stil. Den stammer fra begyndelsen af det 20. århundrede. Byggerne fandt deres inspiration i katedralen i Strasbourg og i Sainte-Chapelle i Paris.
Kirken er meget rig på malerkunst med blandt andet 'Fransiscus modtager Jesusbarnet' (P.P. Rubens, 1614); 'Tilbedelse af barnet af botfærdige syndere' (G. Seghers, 1640); 'Flugt til Egypten' (J. Jordaens, 17. århundrede) og Retabel 'O.L.V. af Godt Held' (P. De Roeck, 20. årh.). Kunstskattene stammer fra den nedlagte Walburgiskirke og den tidligere Kapucinerkirke. Foreningen Venner af Sankt Antonius arbejder på restaureringen af arven.
Årligt kan også julekribben beundres. Antonius af Padua (født i Lissabon, 1195) er beskytteren for fransiskanerne og påkaldes mod skibsbrud, pest og feber.
Ved siden af kirken ligger kapellet for Vor Frue af Godt Held, beskytter for søfolk og købmand.
