Das größte Gebiet der Provinz Ostflandern ist das 500 ha große Provinzgebiet Puyenbroeck, das entlang der Straße Zelzate-Wachtebeke-Zaffelare-Lochristi liegt. Neben der Möglichkeit zu wandern und zu radeln, bietet das Gebiet auch eine Vielzahl von Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie das Mühlenmuseum, den Landschaftspark mit Tieren, die Spielplätze und die Teiche zum Angeln. Außerdem gibt es die Möglichkeit zu golfen, schwimmen zu gehen, mit einem Zug zu fahren, rudern, im Café auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und es gibt einen Verkehrspark für Kinder sowie Kunstwerke in der Natur. Ein Tag in Puyenbroeck ist immer ein entspannender Tag, besonders mit Kindern.
