La tour Lörmecke est un belvédère d'environ 35 m de haut situé dans la forêt de Plackwald dans le Sauerland. Dans le parc naturel de la forêt d'Arnsberg, elle se trouve dans une zone boisée de la ville de Warstein, dans le district de Soest en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie, sur la hauteur de Plackweg.
La tour Lörmecke se situe dans la région naturelle de Plackwald, une partie des hautes terres du Nordsauerland, dans la « forêt de Warstein », la partie est du parc naturel de la forêt d'Arnsberg. Elle se trouve à environ 3,2 km au nord d'Eversberg, 5,7 km au sud de Warstein, 2,8 km à l'est-nord-est du col de Stimmstamm et à 500 m à l'ouest-sud-ouest de la source du ruisseau Lörmecke. Elle n'est pas tout à fait à mi-chemin entre le Niekopf à l'ouest-nord-ouest et le Warsteiner Kopf au sud-est. À quelques mètres au sud de la tour, la frontière entre le district de Soest et le district voisin de Hochsauerlandkreis passe.
