La piazza riqualificata nel 2019 davanti al municipio di Elsene è un piacere per gli occhi e questo è esattamente ciò di cui ha bisogno questo quartiere densamente popolato. La piazza offre spazi per giocare, alberi, fiori, fontane e terrazze dei caffè. Dallo storico castello di Malibran, il sindaco tiene d'occhio la situazione. Questo castello era una residenza del violinista Charles-Auguste de Bériot e fu costruito nel 1833. Vi si stabilì con la sua amica Maria Garcia Malibran, una cantante famosa. Dopo la morte di Maria nel 1836, il castello fu acquistato nel 1849 dal comune di Elsene, che ne fece il municipio.
