Maratea er en italiensk by og kommune i Basilicata, i provinsen Potenza. Det er den eneste kommune i regionen på den tyrrhenske kyst, og er kendt som "perlen af den tyrrhenske". På grund af det betydelige antal af sine kirker og kapeller er den også blevet beskrevet som "byen med 44 kirker".
