At the starting sign, head towards Saint-Lambert-et-Mont-de-Jeux by crossing the bridge, passing in front of the Town Hall, and then continuing on "Rue de la Hamée".
At the exit of Semuy, turn right (marker 4/15) to ascend the path for a distance of 1km, then, at the intersection, turn left towards the village of Mont-de-Jeux.
Pass by the chapel and continue straight to enter the village.
At the first houses, notice the gate of the old Castle, classified as a historical monument in 1995.
André Dhôtel's house is located not far from there, and you can also admire the meanders of the Aisne valley that inspired the writer so much.
Leave the village and then turn left to reach the old station.
Follow the railway and pass over the Aisne.
Then turn left to follow the Ardennes canal for 650m until the lock of Rilly-sur-Aisne.
Take the bridge and turn left, then continue straight for 650m.
Turn right, then, 100m further, turn left to continue straight again, this time on a section of 150m.
Arriving at the bridge over the Ardennes canal, turn left to return to your starting point.
