Welcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Beek. This route takes you through the beautiful area around Kelmond and Klein-Genhout. You will discover a very varied route of about 8 kilometers long. After departure you walk through the Beek buildings, but soon you discover the natural beauty along the Keutelbeek. Then the route takes you through a beautiful park, forests, avenues and (standard) orchards.

From a cultural point of view, the diversity is also great: in addition to hollow roads, you pass through the two hamlets of Kelmond and Klein-Genhout, where various old hooves and real Limburg half-timbered houses are located. Other monumental buildings along the route are Huize Genbroek and St. Hubertusmolen. The Kelmonderbos is a so-called slope forest. Here, numerous springs feed a stream of water that gradually grows larger and rippling towards Beek. Please note that in a part of the Kelmonderbos it is not allowed to walk with dogs. In Beek there are plenty of catering establishments where you can enjoy a drink and a drink.

The route can be followed via the poles with red plates. The route can be reached by public transport via the bus stop of the Prof. Spronckpark in Beek.
