La chiesa del Sacro Cuore è la chiesa parrocchiale di Winterslag, situata in Evence Coppéeplaats 2, ed è una delle cosiddette cattedrali minerarie, costruita su incarico dei proprietari della miniera di carbone di Winterslag. A differenza delle altre cattedrali minerarie del Limburgo belga, questa non è costruita in mattoni, ma in pietra frantumata. La chiesa a croce è stata costruita in stile eclettico con elementi neoromanici su progetto di Adrien Blomme. Fu costruita dal 1923 al 1925. Il basso campanile quadrato è integrato nella facciata anteriore ed è coperto da un tetto a forma di elmo. Sono particolarmente evidenti i contrafforti e la torretta di intersezione. Nel 2020, la chiesa ha riaperto dopo una completa ristrutturazione di 8 mesi, l'intero interno è stato rinnovato e la chiesa ha ricevuto anche nuovi mobili. Il nuovo altare è stato realizzato con il legno delle vecchie panche.
