Moselle_Palatinate_Moselle

The route starts and ends in Traben-Trarbach.
It is a day trip for which riding experience is desired / necessary.
Although there is also a ride through picturesque towns, this tour is mainly about experiencing nature.
The Palatinate loop is driven clockwise (in a clockwise manner). The Palatinate Forest Nature Park is perhaps less known to Dutch motorcyclists due to the distance. In fact, it is the German counterpart of the French Vosges and it is very scenic.
It is not advisable to ride the Palatinate loop on weekends. German motorcyclists then flock to the centrally located biker meeting point Johanniskreuz, and unfortunately, some of these motorcyclists ride irresponsibly fast.
In the Elmsteiner Tal, the roads are closed to motorcyclists on weekends and holidays, which is why I decided not to include these roads in the route.
Length: approx. 390 km.
Driving time: 8 to 9 hours without stops (depending on riding style).
