Orosei è un comune italiano di 6779 abitanti della provincia di Nuoro in Sardegna. Si trova nell'antica subregione storica delle Baronie, un tempo inclusa in quel che era la Gallura inferiore e presta il nome al Golfo di cui è al centro.
Orosei e il suo territorio, grazie ad oltre 25 km di costa e alla sua diversità di paesaggio, sono conosciuti e rinomati come località turistiche e naturalistiche, con oltre 850.000 presenze nella stagione estiva e 145.000 notti prenotate. Proprio ad Orosei ha sede uno dei più grandi gruppi alberghieri della Sardegna.
