Die Zeche Oberhausen war ein Steinkohlenbergwerk in Oberhausen und das älteste Bergwerk im Grubenfeld Oberhausen. Das Bergwerk wurde von Franz Haniel gegründet und war die erste Hüttenzeche des Ruhrreviers, diese gehörte zum Bergrevier Oberhausen. Der Name der Zeche wurde abgeleitet von der Stadt Oberhausen, in der sich das Bergwerk befand. Bei der Aufschließung der Grubenfelder und beim Ausbau der Zeche haben sich der Bergwerksdirektor Kocks und der Grubenverwalter Stiepel besonders verdient gemacht. Das Bergwerk war ununterbrochen über 70 Jahre in Betrieb.
