Loofbos
Verken dit 15 ha grote gemengde bos in Hoogstraten! Hier vind je beuk, berk, grove den en zomereik. Met een beetje geluk kan je in het bos ook reeën spotten. Doorheen het domein loopt een diep grachtenstelsel met brede wandelwegen. Wandelaars en fietsers zijn steeds welkom om de aangeduide paden te ontdekken.
Rol van Kempens Landschap
Dit privaat bosgebied stond onder druk, zo waren er plannen om er een golfterrein van te maken. Onze organisatie kocht daarom het bos aan in 2003 zodat de Blauwbossen gered werden. Voor het beheer kunnen we rekenen op de Bosgroep Noorderkempen.
