Het Westerpunt in De Panne is een geometrische, luie trap die je vanaf de wandeldijk mee de hoogte inneemt, tot je uittorent boven het strand, om je dan weer verder mee naar beneden te nemen naar het lager gelegen strand of de dijk. Het verbindt symbolisch de zee met de duinen, de natuur met de kust, de bewoners met elkaar.
Dankzij de unieke ligging naast de duinen en het Westhoekreservaat is het een echte trekpleister.
