El Sevensmolen, que es va construir al voltant de 1745 a Helchteren, actualment es troba al Heesakkerpark. Aquest és el punt més alt d'Overpelt.
És un molí estàndard o post . Això vol dir que tota la caixa del molí gira al voltant d'un enorme eix de fusta, que està muntat sobre daus de maó.
Aquest sistema garanteix que les pales es puguin col·locar cap al vent. El molí encara funciona .
El 1853 va ser traslladat al centre d'Overpelt. Els agricultors locals hi tenien els seus cereals mòlts fins a finals dels anys cinquanta. El municipi va comprar el molí el 1962 i el va fer traslladar al nou parc Heesakkerheide dos anys més tard. Les restauracions van seguir el 1964 i el 1989. El molí és operat per la vzw Levende Molens Noord-Limburg.
