L'Organització Mundial de Comerç és una organització internacional que supervisa els acords comercials en definir les "regles del comerç" entre els estats membres. L'OMC és el successor de l'Acord General d'Aranzels i Comerç i té com a propòsit el reduir o eliminar completament les barreres internacionals al comerç.
La seu de l'OMC es troba al Centre William Rappard, a Ginebra, Suïssa. Al març de 2013, Roberto Azevêdo en va ser escollit director general. L'OMC té 153 membres, que representen més del 95% del total del comerç mundial i 30 observadors, la majoria candidats a l'adhesió. Tots els membres de l'OMC han de concedir-se els uns als altres l'estatus de nació afavorida, per tal que les concessions comercials que concedeix un membre a un altre, siguin concedides a tots els membres de l'organització.
