A la ruta circular del Foc Negre, que connecta Heigenbrücken amb Jakobsthal, pots gaudir de la natura al màxim. Aquesta ruta de 10,8 quilòmetres és perfecta per a aquells que busquen un repte mitjà mentre caminen pels 266 metres d'altitud. La ruta està ben senyalitzada i et porta a través d'un entorn rural, que predominantment és lliure de cotxes o fins i tot sense trànsit.
