Igualada és una ciutat i municipi, capital de la comarca de l'Anoia, Catalunya. El municipi és a uns 55 km a l'oest de Barcelona, a l'interior de Catalunya i s'estén a l'esquerra del riu Anoia, en el curs mitjà.
La ciutat d'Igualada està situada al est de l'Anoia, a 315,8 metres sobre el nivell de la mar, en el centre de la fossa d'erosió que rep el nom de conca d'Òdena. El municipi limita al nord i a l'oest amb el terme d'Òdena, a l'est amb Vilanova del Camí i al sud amb l'Anoia, que serveix de partió amb el terme de Santa Margarida de Montbui.
