Olazti és un municipi de Navarra, a la comarca de Sakana, a la vall de la Burunda, dins la merindad de Pamplona.
El nom ve de l'èuscar Ola Zarra Goitia Olazti és la contracció de olazarragoitia -olazagutia-Olazti, i significa: cabanya gran damunt un turó. Segons Euskaltzaindia s'ha d'escriure Olatzagutia, perquè en èuscar la z va sempre precedida d'una t epèntica.
