Orxeta és un municipi de la comarca de la Marina Baixa, al País Valencià. Amb 760 habitants segons l'INE del 2017.
Situat en el vessant marítim del Prebètic valencià, al sud dels contraforts de la serra d'Aitana, Orxeta, pertanyent a la Marina Baixa, posseïx un relleu muntanyós, accidentat per les serres d'Orxeta i de Relleu; entre ambdós discorre el riu Sella que confluïx, encara dins del terme, amb el riu de la Vila per a formar el pantà del mateix nom, en el límit amb el municipi de La Vila Joiosa.
