El Palau de la Generalitat, antigament Casa de la Diputació, és la seu de la Presidència de la Generalitat de Catalunya. Igual que el de València, és un dels pocs edificis d'origen medieval a Europa que es manté com a seu del govern i de la institució que el va construir, la Generalitat de Catalunya. És al barri gòtic de la ciutat de Barcelona a la plaça de Sant Jaume, enfront de la Casa de la Ciutat. El Palau de la Generalitat és un dels símbols més preuats de Catalunya, entre altres motius pel fet que ha aconseguit superar contingències històriques i polítiques i perquè s'erigeix, juntament amb el Palau del Parlament, en un baluard de la democràcia a Catalunya.
