El riu Gorgos, anomenat en alguns trams riu de Castells , és una típica rambla mediterrània que discorre en la seua major part per la comarca valenciana de la Marina Alta. Ha estat declarat com a LIC per part de la Unió Europea, a causa de l'alt valor ecològic i ambiental d'aquest riu.
Aquest riu naix en les proximitats de la població de Fageca , on recull les pluges de les serres de Serrella i Alfaro. En temps dels àrabs se'l coneixia amb el nom de riu
