L'Ermita de Maristel·la és fou coneguda anteriorment amb el nom d'Ermita del Carme. És un edifici relativament modern, de finals del segle XIX. Concretament, l'inici de les obres data de l'any 1890, quan la congregació dels frares terciaris carmelites acceptaren la donació que va fer la senyora de Son Ferrà, Dª Margalida Rosselló Ferrà. Actualment l'ermita pertany a la Parròquia de Sant Pere d'Esporles.
