La línia 2 o línia lila del metro de Barcelona és una línia de ferrocarril metropolità soterrada que dona servei a les ciutats de Barcelona, Sant Adrià de Besòs i Badalona. Va ser l'última línia a incorporar-se el segle xx a la xarxa del metro i la primera totalment equipada amb ascensors hidràulics per ser adaptada a persones amb mobilitat reduïda i paviment de textura especial per a invidents. Actualment té tretze quilòmetres de longitud i divuit estacions.
