Hondarribia és un municipi de gairebé 17.000 habitants situat a l'extrem oriental de la província de Guipúscoa, a uns 20 km a l'est de la capital, Sant Sebastià, a la desembocadura del riu Bidasoa, que fa de frontera natural amb Hendaia.És una localitat de caràcter turístic i residencial. S'hi ubica l'Aeroport de Sant Sebastià, conegut per la seva ubicació també com a Aeroport d'Hondarribia.
