El Festival Internacional de Cinema de Canes , creat el 1939, és un dels festivals de cinema més prestigiosos del món, que cada any se celebra durant la segona quinzena del mes de maig a la ciutat francesa de Canes, als Alps Marítims. El màxim guardó que atorga el festival és la Palma d'Or a la millor pel·lícula.
El Festival de Cinema de Canes és un prestigiós festival de cinema internacional creat el 1939 que es va celebrar per primera vegada del 20 de setembre al 5 d'octubre de 1946 a la ciutat costanera de Canes, a la Provença. Des de llavors s'ha celebrat cada any, llevat d'algunes excepcions.
