Aquae Sextiae va ser una ciutat de la Gàl·lia, avui Ais de Provença al departament de les Boques del Roine, al nord de Marsella. Es trobava a 18 milles romanes al nord de Massàlia.El procònsol Gai Sexti Calví la va conquerir l'any 122 aC, després de derrotar els sal·luvis, i llavors es va establir la colònia d'Aquae Sextiae, del nom d'aquest procònsol i per les aigües fredes i calentes que hi havia. Estrabó les anomena τὰ θέρμα Ὗδατα τὰ Σέχτια , i diu que algunes de les fonts calentes s'havien refredat.
