Delfos fou una ciutat de Fòcida i un dels llocs sagrats més importants de Grècia amb un temple dedicat a Apol·lo. Estava a la vall del Pleitos, a un costat del mont Parnasos i a un altre del Cirfís. Al costat del Parnasos una paret de roca de 6 metres anomenada Fedriades mirava al sud i baixava cap al Pleitos. La ciutat de Delphi era enmig de les dues estivacions muntanyenques i els antics comparaven la seva posició a un teatre. Avui hi ha propera la ciutat de Kastrí.
