La quàdriga del Teatre Politeama Garibaldi s'ha interpretat sovint com un símbol de triomf cultural i artístic , ja que es troba al damunt d'un teatre. Destaca la grandesa de les arts. És un exemple de com l'escultura i l'estàtua s'utilitzen sovint per millorar el significat i el caràcter dels edificis.
