Es tracta d'un monestir de la secta Karma-Pa situat al centre del poble.
El monestir va ser construït fa més de 200 anys . Una branca de la fundació de la secta Karma-Pa Kagyut-Pa de Samteling of Mustang, es coneix com a Samteling Gompa de Marpha. El monestir mostra estàtues d'Amitabha (Buda Vermell), Chenresig (Avalokiteswora), Channa Dhorje (Vajrapani) i Guru Rimpoche (Padmasambhava), juntament amb altres deïtats i bells frescos.
Els visitants poden experimentar Dhekep , una dansa de màscares realitzada pels monjos a l'octubre/novembre.
