Atribuïm la denominació "Llàgrimes" al lloc al costat de la capella del mateix nom . És una pila baptismal senzilla, sense símbols mitològics, motius ni versos.
La Font de les Llàgrimes pot al·ludir al dolor i al dol que van envoltar la crucifixió de Crist , i serveix com a lloc de contemplació per als visitants. És un dels molts elements que contribueixen a la profunda experiència espiritual que ofereix el santuari.
