Aquest quiosc a l' Esplanada del Temple va ser construït a la fi de la dècada de 1920.
Entre 1930 i 1932, l'estructura metàl·lica va ser substituïda per un encantador conjunt de vuit belles columnes de granit . Aquesta obra va ser possible gràcies als fons recaptats pel difunt Bernat Sequeira. La placa que l'acompanya es conserva a aquest museu.
Aquest quiosc de música servia d' escenari per a les festivitats anuals en honor a l'Esperit Sant, fet que va inspirar els braguenys a fer un animat pelegrinatge a la muntanya del Bon Jesús . Aquestes festivitats eren un dels principals atractius del Bon Jesús, però van caure en l'oblit fins a desaparèixer del calendari festiu de Braga. Recentment, la germandat del Bon Jesús ha reprès aquesta antiga tradició.
