Un idil·li sonat. Goya va plasmar tot el caràcter de la duquessa d'Alba en aquesta pintura que no va vendre mai. Aquest retrat de la dona més famosa de l'inici del segle XIX amaga alguns detalls que revelen un possible affaire entre l'aristòcrata i el pintor.
