La basílica papal de Sant Pere , coneguda comunament com basílica de Sant Pere, és un temple catòlic situat a la Ciutat del Vaticà.
La basílica compta amb el major espai interior d'una església cristiana en el món, presenta 193 m de longitud, 44,5 m d'alçada, i abasta una superfície de 2,3 hectàrees. L'altura que li confereix la seva cúpula fa que la seva figura domini el horitzó de la ciutat de Roma. És considerada com un dels llocs més sagrats del catolicisme. S'ha descrit com «ocupant d'una posició única al món cristià» i com «la més gran de totes les esglésies de la cristiandat». És una de les quatre basíliques majors i una de les esglésies que s'han visitar al pelegrinatge de les set esglésies de Roma per aconseguir la indulgència plenària.
