Gerlos er en kommune med 793 indbyggere i distriktet Schwaz i Tirol. Kommunen ligger i retskredsen Zell am Ziller. Gerlos ligger i Gerlostal, en side dal af Zillertal, der i Zell am Ziller drejer mod øst. Befolkningen strækker sig over flere gårde langs vejen til Gerlospas på den omtrent 1200 m højt beliggende dalbund. Mod syd fører side dalene fra Schwarzach, Wimmerbach og Schönach ind i de over 3000 meter høje Zillertaler Alper. Mod nord ligger på solsiden af Kitzbühler Alperne et skiområde. Kommuneområdet har en størrelse på næsten 120 kvadratkilometer. Heraf er en tredjedel skovklædt, lidt mere er alper og en fjerdedel er højalpin område. Kun tre procent anvendes landbrugsmæssigt.
