Wolvenberg og Brilschanspark er næsten de eneste steder i landskabet af Groene Bedding, hvor den historiske struktur af volden stadig er genkendelig. I Brilschanspark findes der stadig en autentisk del af fæstningsgraven i form af en krokodilleformet sø, som engang var graven til en ravelijn. Brilschans selv blev allerede revet ned i begyndelsen af det 20. århundrede. Først i 1963 blev det besluttet at omdanne området til en offentlig park.
