Kirken St. Médard blev omkring 1175 overdraget til hospitalordenen St. Johannes af Jerusalem af greverne af Duras.
Den nuværende kirke i gotisk stil blev bygget af lokale byggematerialer (skifer og kalksten).
Koret med en halvrund chevet og på ydersiden en forhøjning med to niveauer med lave vinduer med rundbue under en murarkade, samt tværskibet, der leder ud til to apsiskapeller, vidner stadig om en romansk indflydelse.
Konstruktionen blev afsluttet i begyndelsen af det 14. århundrede med de høje dele af skibet og tårnet.
Kun hvælvingerne i sideabsiderne og apsiskapellerne er originale. Dem i hovedskibet og tværskibet stammer fra 1759.
