Den Store Gete er enBelgisk flod, der efter samløb med den Lille Gete danner den egentlige Gete. Den Store Gete udspringer i den Vallonske kommune Perwijs nær den romerske vej. Den passerer klosteret La Ramée, krydser vejen fra Namur til Tienen og strømmer gennem landsbyerne: Geest-Gérompont, Mont-Saint-André, Bomal, Klein-Geten, Geldenaken, Sint-Jans-Geest, Hoegaarden, Tienen, Oplinter, Neerlinter, Drieslinter og Budingen, hvor den danner grænse med Helen-Bos over en kort afstand.
