Sankt-Michielsabbediet var et norbertiansk abbedi i Antwerpen, der blev grundlagt af den hellige Norbertus selv i 1124 ved bredden af Schelde. I 1831, under den belgiske revolution, blev abbediet fuldstændig ødelagt, efter at det allerede var delvist nedrevet under den franske besættelse. I det syvende århundrede, omkring 652, havde den hellige Amandus været i Antwerpen og havde opholdt sig her i flere år. Han havde forkyndt kristendommen på et sted kaldet Chanelaus eller Caloes, en ø eller højland syd for borgen.
