Limburgs Landskab vzw omdanner gradvist de plantede nåleskove til den naturlige eget-birkeskov ved hjælp af tynding. På de små åbne steder, der opstår, får frøplanter af eg eller birk en chance for at spire og gradvist vokse til en eget-birkeskov.
