Ved beslutning fra generalsekretæren den 4. november 1943 blev klokken t beskyttet som monument, klokken t blev den 4. december 1999 optaget på listen over UNESCOs verdensarv sammen med 23 klokketårne i Flandern og 6 i Vallonien.
