Du går nu gennem en af de smukke hulveje i Hoeselt. Hulveje er gennem århundreder blevet så dybt udhulet af landbrugstrafik, at de er kommet til at ligge under landskabets niveau. De ligger nu nærmest skjult mellem marker, græsarealer og frugtlunde. De fleste hulveje er opstået i senmiddelalderen. Fordi zone og vind har svært ved at trænge igennem, er temperaturerne mildere, og det er fugtigere. Så opstår der nogle gange en skovagtig vej mellem for eksempel to enge eller marker.
